Terms

Terms & Conditions

How to use this website, and how a filming request becomes a booking. Last updated November 2, 2026.

The business

These terms apply to the website at https://oxfcei.com, published by OXFCEI Films. Daniel Mitchell is the owner and videographer, and he works as a sole proprietor. The office is at 2301 S Wentworth Ave, Chicago, IL 60616. Email [email protected] or call +1 (312) 929-3229.

The services are wedding videography, video of corporate events, and video of other events. Filming is in Chicago, Illinois, and work is by appointment. A request for a place outside Chicago does not become a booking.

What the pages are for

The pages describe those services and give you a way to ask about a date. They are information. They are not a confirmed booking, a price list, or the contract for a particular event.

A request is not a booking

Sending the form, or writing or calling about a date, is a request. It does not reserve the date or the videographer. A date is reserved only when both sides have accepted a written quote. Until that acceptance, either side may decline.

How a booking is made

Daniel Mitchell replies in writing with a quote for that event. The booking is formed when both sides accept the quote. An email that accepts it is enough. These website terms do not replace the quote, and they do not set the price, the schedule, or the payment for an event. A later change to this page does not change a quote that has already been accepted.

What the quote agrees

The written quote is where the date, the venue, the parts of the day to be filmed, the film or other result, the price, the way payment is made, and the timing of the work and the delivery are agreed. A point that is not written there has not been agreed.

Postponement and cancellation

Whether a date can be moved, and what happens if the event or the booking is cancelled, are agreed in the written quote before the booking is confirmed. This website does not set a deposit, a fee, or a penalty for a change or a cancellation.

What you need to tell us

Send accurate information and a way to reply. Include restrictions the venue has already given you, such as where a camera may stand. If the venue requires permission before filming, say so. Who obtains that permission is settled in the quote when it needs to be settled. Do not send someone else’s event, or someone else’s contact details, as your own.

The finished film

Using this website does not transfer rights in a finished film, and it does not give either side permission to publish one. If a right to use the film, or permission to publish it, is granted, it is written in the quote for that booking. If it is not written there, this website has not granted it.

Photographs on the site

Photographs on the site illustrate the kinds of weddings and events. They are not films by OXFCEI Films and not examples of client work.

Using the site

You may read the public pages, use them to request a quote, and link to them. Do not use the form to send advertising, to harass someone, to submit false details, or to send automated submissions. Do not interfere with the form or try to read saved requests. The Privacy Policy describes what the form collects.

Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, OXFCEI Films is not liable for a decision made only from reading the pages before a quote is accepted. After a quote is accepted, the responsibilities for that booking are the ones written in the quote. Nothing here removes a right or a liability that the law does not allow to be removed. If one sentence cannot be enforced, the rest of these terms stay in place.

Questions and changes

Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected] or by phone at +1 (312) 929-3229. The date at the top is the date of this version. A change is made by updating this page and that date. The updated terms apply to use of the site after they are posted. They do not alter a quote both sides have already accepted.
